I’ve seen the Church in action doing what the Church should be doing and I’m excited.
Yesterday I posted on this blog about a friend of mine who has just written her first blog post. Her name is Christina. If you haven’t seen her blog, you can find it here.
In my post I asked y’all to go visit her blog and give her some encouragement.
As I see it, one of the primary functions of the Church is to encourage each other. We all need encouragement and we can all find ways to encourage each other.
A whole bunch of you lovely people out there, none of whom I know personally except through the wonders of the World Wide Web, went and visited Christina’s site and some even left encouraging comments.
I wanted just to say THANK YOU! That’s the Church being the Church. That’s the Church encouraging each other.
It doesn’t matter where in the world we are, we can encourage each other and lift each other up because we’re one big ol’ family!
So thanks guys!
Especial kudos to those who have commented on her blog thus far:
Oh yes, while I’m on the subject, why not check out Dan’s site and see if you can help?
It is fun to “meet” other Christians you normally never would in a hundred lifetimes, or talk to people in countries you know you’ll never visit.
It sure is. Although I don’t know what I’ll do in five minutes time let alone what countries I might get to visit!
Thanks for stopping by and for commenting!
God bless
Peter
You’re right, we need to encourage one another more and I’m happy to do it. Blessings!
