It’s time to celebrate!
This blog has been going for very nearly a year now, believe it or not, and I think that’s a cause for celebration.
I’m celebrating because:
- I have actually managed to stick with something for twelve months
- I have literally a few regular readers, which is a constant source of shock and amazement for me
- I have made some great new friends through this blog and I thank God for you all and want to celebrate knowing you.
So, what am I going to do to celebrate?
I’m going to give stuff away, of course!
I have a big pile of brand new, hot off the presses books to give away (some are so hot off the presses I’m not going to get them for a week or so because they haven’t even been released yet). I’m also trying to tie up some other special prizes, including something techie especially for the bloggers out there and (if I can get permission) a special, rarely seen, family recipe for the best chocolate cake you’ve ever tasted.
There are going to be prize drawings every day from Sunday 6th September 2009 through Wednesday 9th September 2009 with a grand prize drawing on Thursday 10th September 2009.
Keep checking back over the course of the next week to find out all the different ways you can enter. Multiple entries are not just allowed but encouraged!
You’re going to love these books. I won’t say much just yet except that they are from publishers like Thomas Nelson, Howard Books and Strang. You can find out more next week.

Congratulations!! I felt the same way after one year, except I didn’t give anything away. Obviously you are either more generous that me, or more Blog-market-savvy (probably both). Hey, did it make you wonder what you should do next, or where the whole thing was going? The one-year mark caused me to ponder and pray about God’s direction for why the heck am I spending all this time doing this stuff? Is it all about me? Or about something else?
