Instead of giving my thoughts this Sunday, I decided to turn this blog over to you.
I spent some time in prayer for online friends this week, including one who I was talking to late Friday night. She told me that, since her youngest son was born, she has not slept more than four or five hours a night – and she’s suffering for it.
We both agreed to pray about the situation and that night she got four hours of sleep – again.
This morning I checked my messages and there was one from her which said this:
PETER!! PETER!!! He heard us!!! 8 hrs STRAIGHT!!! Ahhhh I feel like a new person…I might actually get something done today
I love to see people recognize when God answers their prayers and share praise reports of what he has done. So today, I’d like to turn this over to you:
If God has answered a prayer of yours, please share it with us in the comments section below so that we can rejoice and praise God with you!
Because of the need to be discreet, let’s just say that 8 wonderful Christian women are thanking you, Peter, for your praying and fasting this week because they get to go to work tomorrow. We all know God did this – softened a few hearts, brought some new wisdom, encouraged a listening ear – but I will never doubt that your role in this was huge. Thank you, thank you, from the bottom of my ever-lovin’ heart. And thank you, Jesus!
Thank you God for connecting me with an encouraging word during this week I closed my business. I’m worried about things financially, but you brought a pastor to pray for me, even though I just met him this week.
I’m waaaaay behind on checking on my blogger buddies, so forgive me for just now getting to you.
You prayed for me last week. Let me tell you how God has answered:
Peace
I was just miserable last week. It even manifested itself into physical symptoms. I couldn’t sleep, I was snapping at people and couldn’t see any good out of anything I was dealing with. And here I am now…at peace even though the pain and betrayal are still quite real. I have a forgiving spirit and that was not something I thought I’d have any time soon.
I’m sleeping, I’m smiling and I see the light at the end of this tunnel.
Thank you for caring enough to pray.
