Deep in the Heart of Trouble by Deeanne Gist – book review

To be honest with you up front, I haven’t read this book… BUT…

My wife and two of her sisters have read it and they were absolutely unanimous in their review of it:

“It was so good I couldn’t put it down and I didn’t want it to end.”

There are very few books that my wife reads about which she could honestly say, “I didn’t want it to end” so it says so much about the quality of writing and story in this book that I decided I should tell the world!

Read it and then come back and tell me… did you want it to end?

Deep in the Heart of Trouble was written by Deanne Gist and published by Bethany House

You can find it on amazon in Paperback or Hardcover editions.

So is this a ‘chick’ book (if that makes any sense)?

Actually, I’ve read 3 of Deeanne Gist’s four books. I liked this one, but of the 3, it was my least favorite. If your wife liked this one, I’d really recommend Gist’s others.

Oh, and just to clear it up, YES it is a chick book. But not chicky enough to fall under the genre category of Chick Lit.
