Sunday Thoughts – 4 October 2009

I was reminded today of how small my outlook is.

We had a surprise visit from our missionary friend from the Philippines, Rob Van Den Bos.

I’ve written about Rob a few times before but he never ceases to astound me.

While Rob was here this time, he told me about the children they have adopted.

It just blows my mind what they are prepared to do to reach people on the island that God has sent them to – and it humbles me to think how selfish I am in comparison.

I thank God that he has put people like Rob in my life to remind me to be a little more kingdom-minded!

PS… Don’t forget, Blog Carnival this Tuesday, you’re invited to join! http://is.gd/3X1PQ

Always nice to get a little perspective, and a lesson in humility! Thanks, Peter.
