		<description>Thank you for a well-written and inspiring post. How proud you must be of your father&#039;s work on behalf of these children. My late father was orphaned when he was four and became a ward of the state; in 1920, that meant being &quot;farmed out&quot; to work, literally. In America, orphans as young as he was then have it better in the 21st Century; in countries in Africa, the conditions remain beyond what we might imagine (I saw poverty in South Africa when I was there in the late &#039;90s that went well beyond anything I&#039;d seen in Appalachia). To know that every penny you contribute goes to benefit the children is welcome news.</description>
