Blog Carnival: One Word at a Time – Love

I have no great words of wisdom to write about love, many of the wonderful bloggers out there are for sure writing some great stuff about it today though over on the One Word at a Time carnival.

If you want to see what love is though, love is the thirty two comments I’ve received so far on yesterday’s post.

Love is all of those people I’ve never met in person writing to offer me support and encouragement (and the awesome emails from my Dad and an old school friend).

That’s love in action and in evidence.

…By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another. (John 13:35)

Sometimes, love is just being there when you need to be there. You know that, too, because you do it.

You have been so encouraging to us, Peter. It's our turn. That fabulous circle of life where we lift each other up. Praying for you, friend.

And can't you just feel that the love and affection are genuine? We do love you, favorite Brit. Take good care of yourself and yours.

Peter, you have done so much for many of us… it's our turn to 'love on you'.

Still keeping you close in thought and prayer!
