Bridget Chumbley’s awesome blog carnival today is on brokenness.
I’d love to write about the subject but I’m afraid at the moment I’m rather broken and, while I can write about what it’s like to feel broken, I can’t offer a path out of it which I can talk about authoritatively from experience.
There is a way out though, I believe it with all my heart and I’m sure many people have written about it today, so why not head over there and see what they have to teach: Bridget’s Awesome Blog Carnival on Brokenness
There is most definitely a way out! It's called "trust". God never breaks things without a purpose. It's just a matter of trusting in that plan. But, I'm not saying it's easy. It is very hard. I'll be praying for you.
Thanks, Brian. I appreciate you.
Faith, Peter. May peace be with you.
Thanks, Maureen
Sure, you can Peter. You live it day-by-day. Some days we make good choices and others we fail, but I know you are walking out a healing as you trust more and more in Jesus and surrender more and more to Him. You are loved and appreciated. 🙂
Thanks, Jason. I appreciate you too!
I think just by letting people know you are broken you are providing a way out. It let's people know they are not alone. Praying for you bro.
Thanks, Michael. You're awesome!
Peter, look up amid the shattered pieces of brokenness, and tell God you refuse to stop praising Him and thanking Him. (At least that was the only way up from the bottom for me. I hope I don't make it too terribly far up, because then I'd just need to be broken again.)
