It seems appropriate to say goodbye to the year that was.

Although this year has flown by, at the same time it has dragged on… and on… Things that I was done with at the end of last year have still lingered and other things that I had been planning on for this year have never materialized.

Nevertheless (and it’s always a good day when you get to use that word), things have been looking up.

Business is strong, my health is good (as good as it gets, at least), my family are healthy and happy and God is still God, his mercies are new every morning and his promises he ALWAYS keeps.

I can’t believe a whole decade of the 21st century is already gone.

I remember when the year 2000 was just a distant dream and now it’s just a distant memory.

Thank you, Lord for 2010 with all of its ups and downs.

Goodbye year. We’ll never meet again but you’ll never be forgotten.
