It’s crazy how little I’m blogging at the moment, I want this to be a place where I can share what God’s saying to me and all that good stuff and it’s not like God’s being silent… I just don’t have the time to share it all.

So I want to keep you updated because God IS good and he has been doing stuff that I want to give him all the glory. All of the following happened in the last ten days:

1. As I mentioned before, I have been given the honor of speaking at the BlogWorld Expo in Los Angeles in November – something which was one of my goals for this year!
2. I earned money from writing for the first time. I have known about this for a while, but I finally got my check in the mail last week, which makes it oh-so real! It’s not a huge amount, but it marks a milestone in my writing career. The book is called Hurray God! and is a compilation of true stories of answers to prayer compiled by Jeanette Sharp. One of my stories is included.. You’ll have to buy the book to find out more though
3. Popular and all-round awesome blogger/speaker, Angela England, invited me to write a guest post for her titled “How To Choose a Web Host“. Yesterday, my post went live on her blog, something that I feel is a great honor! (Thanks, Ang)

All this came together after, at the prompting of a good friend and pastor, I started praying for God to use me and show me what he wants me to do.

I simply don’t believe in coincidence and although it could be seen as completely ‘coincidental’ that all this happened in the same week since they had all been brewing for weeks or months, I can’t believe anything but that they’re connected.

What this means and where God is taking me, I have no idea but it’s a journey that I’m excited to be on!
