Thanks Pete. I think it links in with that verse about committing your way to the Lord. Whenever I do anything I try to remember to commit it to the Lord. If I drive a car I ask the Lord to give me the skill to do it well. If I do some work for someone I ask Him for the ability to do an excellent job (as if I was doing it for Him). If I speak/preach in church I ask for His Holy Spirit to speak though me and to give me wisdom. If I do some repairs or improvements to the home I ask Him for help and strength to do it.
When the job is done I give thanks that He enabled me to do it (I must admit I tend to forget).
It’s amazing what I can do when I let God do it through me.
