A Very Different School Special Edition

You’ve all seen the link to the first book in my children’s fiction series, The Fantastic Field-Trips Series…maybe even read it!  The book itself is entitled A Very Different School, and it is a time-travelling adventure back to Bible times in which many lessons are learned.  But just a few days ago, I’ve revamped the book and produced a special edition, full-color version of it.

A couple of months ago in May, I had the pleasure of going to visit a local school to introduce the series to some kids.  The teacher in one second-grade class had her students draw pictures inspired by what they had read in the book.  They were wonderful, and it was great to know that my book inspired such creativity and imagination in these kids!  So I decided to feature their pictures in a reproduction of  my book, which is also a lot more enticing to the audience that I’m aiming for in publishing this series.

I am currently working on the second book in The Fantastic Field-Trips Series, which will focus on a lesson of thankfulness.  I may just have some more kiddos draw more pictures for this next book!  I’ve come to realize that it is imperative to draw the readers in…and kids like colorful, bright, and shiny pictures!

You can buy the special edition of my book here (right now it’s only $10.02 on Amazon), and watch the video below to see more.  Leave a comment to let me know what you think once you’ve read the book!

About PeterP

I am a blogger, author, stay at home dad, speaker, web hosting trainer and geek (I was so excited to get an iPad that I actually made up a song and dance about it). I am English by birth, but currently live in California with my wife and our three children. I ran a web hosting business for nine years and found that many, if not most of my clients had never learned how to use any of the functions associated with hosting so I wrote a book to try and teach just those skills. I must admit to having fallen in love with WordPress (possibly a little TOO much) and I honestly find it hard to understand why anyone would use anything different to build a site! WordPress is wonderful! My passion is to help others achieve their goals with their websites/blogs. I believe that, with a little help, anyone can have an awesome site.
