Whether this statement is actually true or not is questionable (and unmeasurable) however the concept it suggests is spot-on. If you are reading this and are not a ‘Christian’ then I would like to apologize to you.

As Christians, we KNOW that we have found a true relationship with God and are all under the instruction to spread the good news that a real relationship with your creator, freedom from condemnation and guilt and healing for the pain in your heart, mind and soul are freely available.

Instead of doing that though, we hide the truth behind hypocrisy and worldliness. We talk a good game but then don’t put it into practice. We ask you to believe the things we claim to believe ourselves but reject those same beliefs through our actions and speech.

I apologize that through our human failings, we have stolen the good news from you but PLEASE don’t reject God just because some guy you know is a hypocrite.

The bible tells us in Philippians 1:27 to: ‘Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.’ (NIV)

I want to call all of us who truly believe to shake of the chains of worldliness and let our light shine before men that they might believe and be saved.
