  2. It’s pie month at Marie Callendar’s

These two facts do not work well together.

HOWEVER… I’ve found that if you eat absolutely nothing but Marie Callendar’s Chocolate Satin Supreme pie, it’s still possible to lose weight (provided you keep it to less than half a pie a day).

Maybe my diet will start in earnest next month… but then my birthday is next month so cake and See’s Candies will be around in large quantities – hopefully. So maybe I will have to wait until April… oh but Easter is in April (the Easter bunny brings SOOOO much candy to our house). Maybe May – oh, but that’s the start of Barbecue season.

I’m gunning for June – maybe I’ll lose a pound or two in June.

We’ll see.

Is this really the right attitude toward dieting?
