This is Epifanio, the little boy we now have the honor of sponsoring.
For the last ten years or so, we have sponsored a little man in Honduras named Luis but World Vision, who we sponsored him through, have now completed their work in that area of Honduras and so it was time for us to sponsor a new child.
Epifanio is from Bolivia and, at seven years old, is just a few months older than my oldest daughter.
My family and I are very excited to be able to share to a small degree in Epifanio’s life and to help World Vision change his life.
This week, my blog is going to be devoted to promoting child sponsorship. I have some awesome guest posts to share with you and my entry for the blog carnival on Tuesday is even going to bend itself around to include discussing this important work.
