Below this blurb by me, you’ll (hopefully) see the NORAD Santa Tracker.
As far as I can tell, there’s no way to actually embed the Santa Tracker on my site, so I’ve cheated a little just so you can see what I’m talking about. you can also go here to check it out in all its glory.
There are two reasons I am showing the tracker today.
- It’s a bit of Christmas fun
- It really shows just how vast the world is and just how many places and people there are. It’s already well into Christmas day for millions or even billions of people as you read this.
This Christmas, as you attempt to not be overwhelmed by the commercialization and greed of Christmas and as you attempt to remind yourself that Christmas is all about the greatest gift ever given – the gift of Jesus Christ, our Savior, Emmanuel, God with us, remember that the Greatest Gift was not just given to you and the people in the Western world, it was given to ALL mankind.
Let’s pray this Christmas that ALL of the people to whom the gift was given get to hear about it very soon. Let’s not keep it to ourselves in the coming year but rather do as Jesus commanded and take the Good News into all the Earth.
Merry Christmas, one and ALL!
Merry Christmas, Peter.
Merry Christmas, Bridget!
My kids love this thing. Merry Christmas.
I (and my kids) love it too!
Merry Christmas, Jason, I'm very glad to have made your acquaintance this year!
Wishing you Joy and Peace. Merry Christmas!
And to you and yours, Maureen!
My son was totally engrossed by this last night.
To get an idea of the multitudes, check out the video for Mexico City. I forget just how many people live there. A tough job for Santa to be sure.
Merry Christmas, Peter.
