Today is blog carnival day. The topic for today is emptiness.
I have been trying to work out how to write a post on emptiness but I cannot find a way to do it without opening a well of emptiness which neither you nor I want to face head on.
So instead, I recommend you visit Bridget Chumbley’s site and read the excellent posts that others have written on this very interesting subject.
Write it. I'll listen.
Duane,
I'm alone at home at the moment.
I don't even dare go there with nobody else around!
May light open into your day and peace make a home in your heart.
I'm sorry, Peter. Sometimes writing is balm, sometimes it's acid.
I liked your poem, by the way. 🙂
Peter, if you ever feel up to it, I should think that a post from you about emptiness would be beneficial indeed. You have a way of communicating that is honest, humble, and never condescending. I like that about you.
Blessings
You may not want to face it head on, but you need to. But like you mentioned to Duane, you don't dare face it alone. Hang in there and remember you have a whole "virtual" community to lean on. Any of us would be your armor bearer if you ask.
