Once a fortnight, Bridget Chumbley runs a blog carnival where everyone who wished to join in writes a blog post on the same subject.
This week’s word is Gratitude (see all the other posts in the carnival here). I realized that I would be displaying a distinct lack of gratitude were I not to take a break from my book review series and express my gratitude to the online community I’m a part of.
So this is just a note of thanks to everyone I’m connected to online for your prayers, support, love, encouragement, friendship, patience and forgiveness.
I know I am not grateful enough and I owe you all a debt of gratitude greater than I can give but please know that I see and recognize how awesome you are and I thank you for showing the love of God to me over and over again.
THANK YOU!
Sincerely,
Peter
Thank you, Peter. You encourage openness by being open, and love by being loving. I call that the glue that helps the community stick.
Thanks, Glynn.
So you’re saying I’m sticky?
🙂
I echo your gratitude for online friends, and you are one of the best! At some point they become friends, and this is just an extension of real life. Until we meet…thank you, Peter.
Awww, thanks, Candy.
I don’t think I’m one of the best but I sure am glad you do!
Peter, you are one the most selfless people I know. Thank you.
Thank you, Michael.
I’d say it was quite the opposite… but then I’ve never able to be very realistic about myself 🙂
I agree with the others, Peter. It is in our relationship to you that we fully appreciate your gift in creating community.
Thank you Maureen.
I don’t really know in what way I’m good at creating community, I feel pretty poor at it right now… but I’ll accept that you know better than me! 🙂
Thank YOU/sorry/you’re welcome.
You’re welcome/no worries/thank YOU!
It is an amazing thing to be part of true community in any form. I’m with you on the gratitude! Thank you, Peter.
Amen
It’s an honor to blog with you, sir!
And you!
Hi Peter, Thanks for being a brother in the blogosphere, always gracious and generous with the friendships online. You were the first person on my blog to comment and I will never forget that. May God bless you many times over for your pastor’s heart.
Peter, I also echo your words here. I’ve been blessed by so many (including you) in this wonderful online community. You are a great encouragement to many! Thank YOU.
You have helped me selflessly. I still love my blog. I am grateful for you!
Thanks for reaching out so kindly to others. It’s nice to see others appreciated.
