OK… a lot of people asked to see ‘after’ pictures of the closet I’m building. It’s not finished yet, but I’m not going to do any more on it until my Dad comes to visit in March.
So, here’s how it’s looking. As you can see, I had barely got the drywall hung before my wife made me put up shelves and stuff so she could start using it:
Looks good, Peter! Way to go.
Thanks, Jason!
The camera might have been kind to me this time….
you are the man, man!
Maybe you could tell my wife that….?
Looking good!!
Thanks, Helen!
Whoa, you’re a regular Tim Taylor! Please tell me you didn’t nail that adorable little girl to to that stool….
Nail her to the stool?
Why would I do that when I can use glue and staples?
Okay. What’s with the little square piece of drywall in the corner? Measure twice. Cut once. Or is that measure once and cut twice? Snort! I kid…looks great.
That square of drywall in the corner is because I’m of the ‘measure once, cut twice then measure again, then….’ persuasion.
Or maybe it’s because I’m cheap and I didn’t want to use a whole new piece of drywall for that one last strip up there.
Or maybe it’s because I’m of the ‘measure once, cut twice then measure again, then….’ persuasion.
Who knows?
Now all I need to do is get my dad to tape-and-mud it and then find someone to paint a cool design on it.
Oh, and on the doors too.
Which I also need to hang.
Very nice, Peter. And kudos to the organizer in the family.
