IT”S MY BIRTHDAY!
Considering the overwhelming amount of birthday wishes I’ve received, my guess is that’s not too much of a surprise for most people.
Those of you who read my blog last week may remember that my birthday is my favorite day of the year!!!!
This birthday is amazing. I had a great weekend of birthday meals and this morning, I got a bunch of wonderful presents including the amazing Wacom Bamboo Pen Tablet
I wanted it mainly for use in Photoshop and illustrator but have already found that it’s incredibly useful for all aspects of my computer use and may one day replace my mouse completely!
I also got a copy of the book Heaven is for Real: A Little Boy’s Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back
I haven’t read it yet but you can be sure I’ll review it when I do!!!

We’re thinking about a tablet for our son. Any thoughts on a reasonable starter tablet? He’s 10 and loves to do illustrations and work in paint. We’re hoping to buy an illustrator program for him soon and thought this might be something to work with as well, but neither of us are much for graphic anything.

I’m no expert on tablets but I am LOVING this Bamboo Pen tablet.
It’s $57 or something so it’s not cheap but it IS amazingly versatile and so simple to use, my Mom was able to use it first time!
